Tuna fish with pistachio crust

February 4, 2015 By Andrea Leave a Comment

This is not exactly a Tuscan recipe, but yesterday I found very good tuna fish at reasonable prices at the Central Market and wanted to try. It was really good and I hope you can try this extremely fast and simple recipe at home. Tuna fish with pistachio crust is typical of Sicily, in Southern Italy.

Ingredients (for three portions)

  • tuna fish with pistachio tuna fish with pistachio3 slices of fresh tuna fish, about 2.5 cm (one inch) each
  • shelled unsalted pistachio 100 gr
  • extravergine olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper

And here goes, in less than 15 minutes you have marinated tuna fish with pistachio crust, a very nice dish that you can prepare for yourself or your guests, giving a good account of yourself.
